After a pretty good weekend in Sonoma we were feeling good about going to Seattle for the National event. That good feeling didn’t last long as the first run was a carbon copy of our losing run in Sonoma, 5.44 at 267. We lost one run to rain and our second qualifying run was a duplicate of the first, 5.46 at 268. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it did. First round it dropped a cylinder and went a whopping 5.69 when a 5.40 would've won that round. Two weeks later it’s back to Seattle for the Regional event. We went two-days early to go completely through the car and test. We got rid of one gremlin and created another one. We smoked the tires immediately on both of the test runs, two qualifying runs and the first round. The next adventure will be at Woodburn, Oregon September 13th, 14th & 15th and we're going early to test. We are still 14th in the National points and 4th in the Region, only 24 points out of 2nd. Thank you to everyone helping us make this possible.
