Step 1: Remove locking collar set screw with an Allen Wrench.
Step 2: Remove locking collar with a
Spanner Wrench and remove inner bearing.
Step 3: Remove front bar guide clamp.
Step 4: Remove rear bar guide.
Step 5: Turn drum feed handle by hand
until the complete assembly comes off.
Step 6: Remove old boots. Inspect drum feed screw & quill. Clean and lube if necessary. A Small screwdriver may help remove the spring over the larger boot.
Step 7: Install new boots and reassemble by reversing steps 6 -1.

DURING REASSEMBLY MAKE SURE THE KEY WAY PIN LINES UP WITH THE RACE OF THE CROSS FEED ASSEMBLY!
