Magnetic Washer and Shim Removal Tool working

Magnetic Head Bolt Washer and Valve Spring Shim Removal Tools Make Quick Work of Engine Disassembly

Getting head bolt washers or valve spring shims out of a head when disassembling an engine can be a real pain in the butt. Especially when they're all gunked up from oils and lubes.

That's why we added these magnetic removal tools to the product line several years ago. They're equipped with powerful earth magnets that will grab the washer or shim firmly. They're also manufactured with a hollow center so you can easily reach over studs and head castings.

This is not a one-size-fits-all tool. We offer the washer removers in three sizes plus the shim remover. You can also get a complete set of all four for a substantial savings.

Rebuilding engine components without removing the residual magnetism is flat out dangerous.
